We could nick a boat

-t,  --tries=NUMBER           set number of retries to NUMBER (0 unlimits)


What if I don't want wget to retry AT ALL?? Aargghh.

-t1 sounds like it would only try once, but i'm probably mistaken. ;)

It most likely would.

Its not the end result that I want, though.

I want -t0 to not retry at all :p

Actually, I just noticed it said "Try: 2" on the second try, so maybe it *would* work.

I certainly hope it does.

yeah, that's basically what i was trying to imply. it should only *try* once with -t1, not *retry* once. damnit, i hate badly-phrased documentation.
