Can't wake up

Taking a Suburu Forester for a test drive this afternoon. The sales guy is a bit strange. He doesn't seem to want to let us test drive any cars. Probably thinks we are just out for some free test drives or something.

Work is going from strength to strength. The new menu ("Salads Plus") seems to have been a hit. Thats what head office keeps telling us, although I wish we could get our stock supplies right. Last week we ran out of several items (lettuce, fresh onion, carrot/cabbage, bottled water, yogurt) essential to the new menu. This week we have, again, run out of several items (lettuce, fresh onion, gourmet lettuce mix, sundae mix). Just makes my work harder.

Starting to feel pretty alone out here again.

To fill in my spare time, starting either next week or the week after I'm going to start brewing my own beer (well me along with Matt, Emma's brother). Previous time-filler was fixing the car, but not allowed to do that anymore (spend any more money on the car). I'm getting the windscreen replaced this week at a hefty fee. Trying to sell it to Michelle at work (because Ashley no longer wants to buy it). Maybe I just took too long to fix it up. I really want to get rid of it, so I can move on with some other things.

What I'd really like is to have a decent computer so I could go to LAN parties again. Not that it's stopping me from going, its just that my computer just can't play anything half decent anymore. Yay CS. Blah. Even a new vid card would give my comp a kick.

I'm going to go now.

I can understand the money-suck that is both cars and computers.

To make things worse, I know the guy that runs the local lan parties. Every time he comes in for a bite to eat he asks "I didn't see you at the last lan! What happened?". I don't want to tell him my computer sucks, because then he might try to "lend" me a computer to play on. Thats all good and dandy when you're good friends, but I don't like it when it's someone I barely know past acquiantance level.

Thinking of setting up a savings account and getting money automatically transferred in there from pay every week as a computer equipment accumulation fund. That should be abbreviated. C.E.A.F.

Please give generously to the C.E.A. Fund. I'll think of a catchier name later for it.
