I'm at work, there's no jobs currently running and I'm wasting time posting.

Mum's home, Paul leaves for Oz this Saturday morning, and that leaves me with ... Paris and Bev and my flatmates. I'll leave that topic alone for the moment.

I think my iRiver hdd is starting to die, there's a lot of corrupted mp3s on there at the moment. I lost about 6 tracks from my Daft Punk CD, I'm quite disappointed. Good news is I think I fixed it, for the time being anyway. Got plenty of new comedy stuff from Paul, including Billy Connolly, Bill Hicks, Dwight Slade, Jerry Seinfeld CDs and various other single mp3s.

Must contact Penny and find out when I can come visit, she still hasn't gotten back to me.

Have been watching movies like mad, have bought a couple as well. Interestingly enough, FOPP had Citizen Kane for a fiver, and I've never seen it so am quite looking forward to it.

Mum put an ad in the trading post to sell my car for $400, someone turned up the next day to take it off her (my) hands. I told her to split the proceeds between her and Brendon (my brother). I owe Brendon $50 anyway because he put that much on my credit card over Christmas to keep the corporate dogs off my back.

Thats it.

Yep the same. My brother was supposed to have sold it after I left, but as is the case with my brother a year went by and nothing happened. Mum turned up, offered to sell the car and did. In two days.

Also thanks for all the tips and just your normal posts in your journal about what you are eating and what you are doing re working out. Its really helpful. One question though: How much water should I be drinking a day, roughly? Kristy reckons I should be drinking 5 litres, I tried it Thursday and holy fuck if I'm struggling to down that much in a day. I can manage without too much hassle at all between 3 and 4.5, but to get 5 I have to push myself.

no problem

aim for between 3.5 to 4 litres a day. 5 is probably overkill. drinking too much can remove too many nutrients from your body that you ate in the first place

During the hot summer's we've been having, I've found myself drinking 4-6 litres of water a day and thats' just through thirst. I'm sure that thirst is an indication of dehydration and you should drink a little bit more than that. I finally finally updated my LJ after 5 months of silence and neglect :).

How goes you, Xian?
