Got my new computer, but I've been totally broke (as I suspected I would be) for the last two weeks. Come Friday I'll finally be back to normal, so to speak. The upshot of being broke for two weeks is that I didn't pay for this thing on credit and got a decent deal out of it. Now that I'm not using my PDA to view my journal anymore, I might change it to a nicer style.

It snowed last week, it has been bitterly cold (well cold for me) for the last week. No, scratch that, for the last month. Apparently warmer temps are predicted this week, so I'm quite excited about that.

I think I've figured out why I'm not liking work. I think its because I'd finally managed to organise a good routine with all the new things that have been going on. There's been a constant need to change that routine in the last couple of weeks, and its sort of made me feel disconnected from it all. Now I just don't seem to care that much. Did manage to get three hours of overtime last week, so thats a bonus.

I've done fuck all exercising.

Some pictures to upload, I nicked them from Jayson and Paul from the Edinburgh military tattoo we went to last August. While on the subject of pictures, bubblebee posted a few choice ones of me (from 4 or 5 years ago?). I think its a friends-only post though, so I've nicked the ones with me in it and I'll put em up on my Scrapbook.

In my last post I mentioned that I watched the Rangers vs Villarreal game, they drew 2-2. Well in 10 minutes the second game is played, same teams but instead of being played in Glasgow it is being played in Villarreal's home stadium (no idea where in Spain that is). This is how it generally works: Two teams play two games against each other, one at each respective home stadium. The team that scores the most goals over the two games moves forward in the Champions League. Rangers (Scotland) are the underdogs, Villarreal only need to draw 1-1 or 2-2 to move forward.

Doesn't mean I'm a fan of the game. Scotland play away against Ireland this weekend in the 6 nations, so that'll be something else to look out for. Two weeks ago they played a very impressive game against England (the current world champions) beating them 18-12 at Murrayfield stadium (which is here in Edinburgh). Confused yet?

Anyway, games on, beers cold. I'm out.

(Jess, get better soon, k.)

Like the new layout! So who won the Gers game?

I'm a lot better, thanks, just stuffy and slightly headachey - not nearly as messed up as I was over the weekend. Now I just wish the mouth thingies would get better :p

(Sorry I called you a turd on AIM. All in fun, you know :) )

They drew 1-1, though Rangers played really well. My opinion is that Villarreal really just blagged their way through the game. Rangers provided them with an opportunity to score just after half time, and after Villarreal scored they spent as much time as possible pretending to be injured but not actually being injured. IE they did it to waste time. Frustrating.
