GPS, please

Its weird now that Jess finally has a visa, and by extension a job. Our lives have practically been put on hold for a good part of this year while Jess organised the paperwork to get her visa. On hold because, at the end of it all, it could still have gone either way - even though we had an inkling that it would be a slam dunk for the immigration department, you never know.

So now we can make plans together. Plans for next year, plans for our spare time. I can now look into the hobbies I've wanted to for so long (rock climbing). Even long term plans are now possible.

Within the next two weeks our money problems should all but disappear. Careful allocation of our respective pay will make it easy.

Yay :) You're right, we have been on hold this year, even though I never thought of it as such. It will be good to have a little more stability and to feel "normal" again for the first time in ages. I'm looking forward to it. :)
