For comparison ...

Decided to try a nightly build of Firefox 3.2 alpha. Seeing as how over here they claim that Webkit (Safari and Konqueror both are based on it, so is some other stuff) crapped all over it, I thought it only fair.

So far, it does feel a lot faster than my usual FF 3.03 (ubuntu 8.04 repos still haven't updated to 3.04). However, it also rejected all my extensions except for adblock.

I'll have a further play with it.

I didn't know you'd stolen that userpic. Its awesome =)

Its possible to download and try a nightly build of the latest firefox - as in, they are constantly working on improving it, and by nightly build they mean "bleeding edge".

Safari is the native web browser for Mac's (but you can also get it for Windows now). Its based on Webkit, which I'm not 100% sure but I think it is an internet browser as well as a base for other internet browsers (like the Linux-only Konqueror).

So far I'm still sticking with Opera 10 alpha. Its awesome.
