Hope you people still read my entries =)

Lots of stuff over the last few days, mostly recreational. "Fixed" lots of peoples computers, and got paid for it, so I would have some money to buy Christmas presents this year.

I went and applied for "Youth Allowance" over the holidays; its a fancy word for the dole. They basically said "Sure, so long as you look for work." Fine by me. I don't like having to obtain the dole, however I do need the money. Oh well. Things could be worse.

Big Day Out mania. Emma's been going mad trying to organise our trip down to Brisbane/Gold Coast next month, and has been tearing her hair out over her best friend Trina, who won't return her phone calls (or simply won't answer the phone). Trina still has to pay her share, which has got Emma fuming.

My brother comes home tomorrow! I can't wait to see him. I haven't seen him in months, and no doubt he'll drag along his computer for me to fix.

I went to sort of LAN last night; didn't get to bed until 8am. Woke up at 4pm with a sore throat from the A/C that seems to run non-stop in Damian's room. I still have the sore throat now =( I went and bought Christmas presents:

  • The Tigger Movie for Emma
  • "Ice Station" by Matthew Reilly for my Dad (the equivalent of an action movie starring x action actor; should be a good read for him)
  • a bottle of Bundaberg Rum Black for Emma's parents
  • the DVD "American History X" for my brother
  • a bright red umbrella for my Mum (her old one is busted)

Lots of fairly cheap pressies. Feel the wang.

Doi. Hope you haven't got my evil sore throat thingy. That would not be cool.

Is that "feel the wang" in the same spirit as the lyrics to Elton John's coming-out classic (and soundtrack to the Lion King) "Can You Feel the Wang Tonight?" If it is, I'd like my money back, thanks.
