L A T E R that week

I noticed strange gurgling noises coming from the aforementioned Barina yesterday, so I parked it in the garage. I subsequently forgot to shut the garage doors; my parents were pretty cool about it, seeing as how usually they would just shout and scream about how we could have been robbed blind. Ever notice how the robbers rob people when they haven't left the doors wide open?

Anyway, I noticed upon inspection last night that there was practically no coolant left. (Its like running out of beer, except I drink it less. Can only handle one glass a night) Seriously though, I decided to leave the car in the garage and see what was wrong in the afternoon. Bingo! Come home at 3:30pm to a big puddle of coolant on the floor. Turns out the radiator is stuffed. So after proudly posturing to my friends on Monday that my car would never die, I guess this is a pretty deep blow.

I rang around a couple wreckers and it looks like I can get one for about $100, which will be fantastic. I'll pull out the busted one tonight and see if its a match tomorrow, if so I'll drop the replacement in on Sunday and hopefully have the car operational again by Monday.

And so my life goes on.

Murphy's Law
As stated by the all might Murphy himself.
"When one announces to the world or to friends that he or she has something that has never ever fucked up is sure to have that exact thing fuck up on them in a very short period of time."
You poor bugger! I'm thankful its only going to cost you $100 buck though.

What the devil is a Barina? (other than small, boxy and low clearance)... I don't know the Australian makes ...

I'll try to get a picture out (along with the long-promised picture of my wallet too) sometime.
