"When chaos rules ... you and the Census can set things right.

Traffic is banked up. Schools are so crowded, kids are pressed up against the walls. The 8.40 flight from Lilliput has just landed outside Mrs. Kakulas' window.

Like your friends Eon and Rufus, you've had enough of living in a world of chaos. You decide to do something about it, but what?

With the help of Rufus' hand-made gadget, 'The Portal,' you enlist the help of Alice. In Alice's world the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) conducts a regular Census to help maintain a world of order and unity.

This is your chance to put things right. Take a ride through the portal, let Alice show you the way ... and you will create order out of chaos."

-- Blurb from the educational CD-ROM "A tale of two worlds", produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

Ha! Those crazy statisticians - they crack me up.
