Games galore

I bought the Diablo II expansion pack on the weekend, Lord of Destruction. Lots of fun, Blizzard just rock for making fantastic and long lasting games - and then making expansion packs that make it last even longer.

People are still going to be playing this a few years from now.

I killed Baal tonight with my lvl 35 ice sorceress, Azalia. Piece of piss. I don't know what all the fuss was about.

I also got my hands on a copy of Shogun: Total War on the weekend. Even though I still don't understand quite how to play properly, I am really enthused. Especially after reading the manual. Thats got to be the best manual I've ever read (well, I'm not finished yet ...). Not only does it explain the game mechanics, but it goes into some depth about the period of time it is set in, the way of life, details about the warriors and all that sort of thing. Absolutely fascinating. I think I'll have more fun reading the manual than playing the game, but then again thats just me.

The only other game I'm waiting on atm is Serious Sam - the only reason I want it is to get into some Doom-style co-operative multiplayer. One against all and team play gets kind of boring after a few years. Red Faction MT would be great if everyone in my gaming clique had it and enjoyed playing it.

Oh well. Enough about my pastimes. Back to this damn database programming assignment. *sigh*

Psst: also required -- one posse of friends that have the computers required to run Red Faction. ;)

Re: Well?
Your system could run it easily.
